TRANSPORT AMBULANCE
A type A ambulance is a vehicle designed to transport patients in general condition who do not require intensive medical care or emergency procedures during transport. It ensures safe and comfortable conditions for transporting patients and people with limited mobility.
There are two subtypes of Type A ambulances: A1 – for transporting one patient, and A2 – for transporting multiple patients.
EQUIPMENT
The Type A ambulance meets all the requirements of the EN 1789 standard regarding basic equipment necessary to ensure patient safety and comfort:
TRANSPORT KIT
for transporting patients in a lying position.
CHAIR
for stabilizing and safely moving patients.
OXYGEN CYLINDER
providing access to oxygen in case of respiratory support.
SUCTION DEVICE
for removing secretions in case of airway obstruction.
DEFIBRILLATOR
to restore normal heart rhythm in case of cardiac arrest.
BASIC FIRST AID KIT
containing dressings, protective gloves, masks, and other materials that are required in every ambulance.
PRIORITY SIGNALING
compliant with safety standards and traffic regulations.
APPLICATION
Type A ambulances are used for scheduled patient transport, transport between medical facilities, and transport of sick or disabled people who need assistance in getting to a hospital, clinic, or nursing home.
CUSTOMIZATION

We also offer vehicles equipped with a cardiac chair that can be securely fastened to the floor, allowing patients to be transported in a seated position.
These ambulances are also fitted with a dedicated access ramp. As a result, each patient transport ambulance can be adapted to the specific operational needs of the user.
