The AUTO-FORM brand was founded in 1974. The company initially specialized in bodywork repairs and minor recalls of motor vehicles. In the late nineties the business owner Mr. Jerzy Kuc developed a concept to convert Polonez passenger cars into ambulances. He created along with his employee Mr. Roman Pietrzyk, a multiple champion of Poland in flying models, their own design of extending the body and raising the roof a Polonez in order to serve as an ambulance.
From that moment the production of ambulances became the core of the company’s business. Since 1995, the company also began the production of ambulances for car brands other than Polonez. It was Toyota Hiace to start with followed by Peugeot Boxer, Renault Master and Mercedes Benz.
Constantly striving to improve of the ambulances produced and the implementation of new ideas enabled us to develop from a company of four to become a leading producer of ambulances in Poland. The produced ambulances are delivered also to customers outside Poland due to the many years of experience and dedication of all the company’s employees. Our company currently provides ambulances, inter alia, to France, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Italy. The company’s priority is to produce medical ambulances in such a way as to meet the user’s expectations and to ensure the highest work standard.
The AUTO FORM Company produces ambulances in accordance with the customer requirements and rigorously observes the provisions set out in European standard EN 1789. The safety of the ambulance users is a top priority, thus AUTO FORM ambulances are subjected to dynamic tests, i.e. “crash tests” in one of the most modern research centers – DEKRA Automobil Test Center in Klettwitz.
